Vacation Bible School
|
|
Since the summer of 1963, with only a few exceptions, Trinity Lutheran Church has provided "on-site" Vacation Bible School for the surrounding community's children as well as for the congregation's children. The first year a number of children attended either St. Paul's or Redeemer's Vacation Bible School in Fort Worth. Two summers while Pastor Hartman served, several children attended St. Mark's Vacation Bible school in Mineral Wells.
With the combination of Pastor Kohl's guidance and organization by the Sunday School superintendent, that first Vacation Bible School, June 17-21, 1963 had forty-five children enrolled.
